Jeff Wright (1976-79/ Football)

Jeff Wright played football for Ault in a four-year career from 1976 through 1979, and has virtually dominated the Nevada pass receiving record book for a decade and a half. When he finished his career, he held every Nevada pass-catching record. He is still prominent in all top-ten receiving lists, including career catches (175, the record recently broken by Bryan Reeves), yards gained receiving (3,034), and touchdowns receiving (27). He was named All-Big Sky Conference in his senior season, his team’s first in that conference. In the years Wright was a team member, the Wolf Pack went 35-11 and made two appearances in the 1AA Playoffs (1978 and ’79). Wright went on to live in his native Vacaville, CA and was in the education field in the Vacaville school system.

2016-17 Moment of the Season

Women's Softball

The Nevada softball team qualified for the Postseason NISC
Tournament, marking the first time since the 2009 season the Wolf
Pack has received a postseason berth. In its opening round game against UCSB, Nevada found itself down five runs before storming
back and winning the game in the bottom of the seventh with a
walk-off home run. The next day, the Pack climbed out of another
five-run deficit to defeat Pacific and advance to the regional championship game.
