Edgar Jones (1975-79/ Basketball)





Edgar Jones was a four-year starter for Nevada from 1975-76 and 1978-79. He is the all-time leading scorer for the university with 1,877 points in 101 games, or 18.6 points a game for his entire career. He is second on the all-time rebounding list at 1,116 or 11.1 per game. Jones was first team ALL-West Coast Athletic Conference in 1976-77 and second team in 1975-76 and 1977-78. During his four years with the team, the Wolf Pack was 67-41, including 21-7 in 1978-79 when the team got a National Invitational Tournament Bid. Jones went on to a successful National Basketball Association career with New Jersey, Detroit.

T Moe

Women's Basketball

Junior T Moe made history during Friday night's season-opening win over UC Santa Barbara by collecting the program's first triple-double. The 5-8 guard kicked off her season by posting 19 points and career-highs with 12 rebounds and 11 assists to capture the feat, the 10th to be done in the Mountain West. Moe made a strong push for her triple-double in the second half of action, tallying 13 of her 19 points in that half. Nine of her 11 assists were passes inside that led to Nevada's dominance in the paint where the Wolf Pack outscored the Gauchos by 24 points.
