Peter Sinnott (1967-72/ Track & Field, Cross Country)

Peter Sinnott was a track and cross country letterman between 1968 and 1972, and at one time held eight Nevada track records. His 1:48.2 time in the 800 meters in 1972 still stood as the longest existing individual University of Nevada Track record when he was inducted into the hall of fame. He was also a member of two relay teams which set records that also still stood in 1990 (the year he was inducted into the Hall of Fame).

Madison Morell


Madison Morell had a career-day in Nevada's 3-2 upset of No. 25 Wyoming. Morell set a new career-high with 31 kills, including five in the fifth set. Her 31 kills was just one shy of tying the program record of 32 set by Lauren Netherby. The Plano, Texas, native is the first player in the Mountain West this season to register 30+ kills and is also tied for ninth in the nation for most kills in a five-set match this season.
