Kelly Dick Orlich (1981-83/ Softball)





Orlich was a multi-sport athlete at Sparks High and graduated in 1979. In her early years, she went on to become a member of the Cincinnati Reds organization a key cog in the “big Red Machine” that won the World Series in 1975 and 1976. Orlich carried on her amazing talents to the Nevada Softball team earning All-American honors as a shortstop in 1982. By the time her Nevada career ended, Orlich held the team records in virtually every offensive category including batting, home runs, runs batted in and stolen bases. After college she got into coaching, leading McQueen to the state softball championship in 1986.

T Moe

Women's Basketball

Junior T Moe made history during Friday night's season-opening win over UC Santa Barbara by collecting the program's first triple-double. The 5-8 guard kicked off her season by posting 19 points and career-highs with 12 rebounds and 11 assists to capture the feat, the 10th to be done in the Mountain West. Moe made a strong push for her triple-double in the second half of action, tallying 13 of her 19 points in that half. Nine of her 11 assists were passes inside that led to Nevada's dominance in the paint where the Wolf Pack outscored the Gauchos by 24 points.
