Glen Jobe (1971-72/ Skiing)





Jobe lettered in Alpine skiing at Nevada, 1971-72 and in cross-country skiing, 1972-73. He was Western Collegiate Racing Champion in 1972-73, go8ing undefeated against Western Collegiate competition. He won the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate Champions in cross country skiing in 1973, and was a qualifier from the 1973 NCAA Championships. Jobe was a two-time Wolf Pack ski team captain. A US national Cross Country Ski Team member from 1976-81, Jobe qualified for the 1980 U.S. Winter Olympic team in the biathlon, finishing in 38th place at Lake Placid. He won the US national title at the 20-kilometer biathlon distance in 1981.

Madison Foley

Volleyball

Sophomore Madison Foley was a top performer for the Nevada volleyball team at the Molten Classic last weekend where the Wolf Pack went 1-2. Foley posted 29 kills, 3.22 per set, while also leading the team with four service aces the four matches. The Dayton native also registered 23 digs, which ranks third on the squad, and two blocks.
