Triplett was an Academic All-American for the men’s golf team, graduation with a degree in civil engineering in 1985. Since joining the PGA Tour in 1989, Triplett, 38, was one of the Tour’s most consistent players. Claudia Herrero captured the ITA Mountain Regional championship defeating teammate Sheila Morales in the finals. The field included 128 players and it came down to the two Wolf Pack athletes with trip to the 2016 USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships on the line. She is one of 32 that will compete in the national event November 3-6.
