At the University of Nevada, we celebrate tradition: a proud tradition of "athletes supporting athletes" and keeping those who have been part of the Silver and Blue in connection. The Nevada Varsity Club is a new entity to provide all Nevada student-athletes, coaches, cheer and dance, and staff the opportunity to stay involved with Wolf Pack Athletics after they have moved on. Those who have been involved with and put on the Pack uniform are our best ambassadors for Nevada Athletics.

Our mission is to promote the legacy, pride, loyalty and values that arise from being part of Wolf Pack Athletics. With a strong, active membership and support, we hope to make a significant impact in the lives of our current student-athletes and to bring together a family that is an integral part of the success of this athletics program.
Our goals are:

  • To bond all student-athletes and staff with Wolf Pack Athletics.
  • To create networking opportunities for all former and current student-athletes of the Silver and Blue.
  • To support the university, athletics department and specific sports through events and projects.
  • To promote Wolf Pack Athletics in the community.

Madison Morell

Madison Morell had a career-day in Nevada's 3-2 upset of No. 25 Wyoming. Morell set a new career-high with 31 kills, including five in the fifth set. Her 31 kills was just one shy of tying the program record of 32 set by Lauren Netherby. The Plano, Texas, native is the first player in the Mountain West this season to register 30+ kills and is also tied for ninth in the nation for most kills in a five-set match this season.
