Cross Country sends four to Doc Adams Invitational

Wolf Pack ready to race

Nov. 6, 2013

Reno, Nev. -

Following a seventh place finish at the Mountain West Championships, the Nevada cross country team is preparing for the Doc Adams Invitational hosted by UC Davis in Davis, California. The race is scheduled for 10:45 a.m. this Saturday.

Nevada has not competed in the meet since 2008 when the Pack sent three runners over the hill to compete. Nevada's top runners will not be competing since the meet falls one week after the Mountain West Championships, and one week before the NCAA Mountain Regional Championships, but it will provide one last opportunity for those not competing as part of the Wolf Pack top-seven to gain more race experience.

Following the meet this weekend, the Pack will be preparing for the NCAA Mountain Regional Championships taking place on Nov. 15th in Ogden, Utah. A strong finish in the Mountain Regional Championships could launch the Pack to the NCAA National Championships to be help on Nov. 23 in Terre Haute, Ind.
