Cross Country Concludes Season at NCAA Mountain Regional

PROVO, Utah -

The University of Nevada cross country team wrapped up the 2011 season at the NCAA Mountain Regional hosted at the East Bay Golf Course by Brigham Young University on Saturday.  Nevada placed 19th with 516 points.

New Mexico and Colorado will advance to the NCAA Championship meet tying for the top spot with 84 points.  UTEP’s Risper Kimaiyo won the individual top spot running 20:35.2.

Nevada was led by sophomore Johanna Olsson placing 91 with a time of 23.37.7.  Senior Gloria Sosa was 94 with her time of 23:40.8.  Nicole Painter was 109 at 24:10.8, Caitlin Devitt-Payne was 110 at 24:12.5, Jenifer McEntire was 112 at 24:21.0 and Katie Romanko was 129 at 26:11.4.
