2012 NCAA Mountain Regionals  Get Acrobat Reader

The University of Nevada cross country team wrapped up the 2012 season at the NCAA Mountain Regional hosted at the Collindale golf course by Colorado State on Friday.  Nevada placed 13th with 361 points.

The New Mexico women's cross country team received an automatic bid to the 2012 NCAA Division I Championship after placing second at the Mountain Regional with 95 points. UTEP's Risper Kimaiyo won the individual top spot for the consecutive time, running 20:10.8.

Nevada was led by junior Samantha Diaz who placed 36th with a time of 21:35.5. Sophomore Demerey Kirsch finished 47th with a time of 21:46.2 and Mountain West Freshman of the Year Emily Myers took 75th with a time of 22:31.7.
