This Week's Pack Volleyball Promotions: Thursday night is Alpine Meadows Ski Night as free season and day passes will be given away.  Saturday evening is Susan Komen Breast Cancer Awareness Night and all fans who wear pink will be admitted free.

Pack Host Boise State And Idaho: The University of Nevada (6-12, 2-3 WAC) volleyball team will host a pair of Western Athletic Conference opponents this week when Boise State and Idaho venture into the Virginia Street Gym on Thursday and Saturday respectively.  Both matches start at 7:00 p.m.

BSU (2-16, 2-4 WAC) enters the match at 2-16 on the season and 2-4 in WAC play.  The Broncos defeated Idaho 3-1 on Monday.  Idaho (7-11, 3-3 WAC) is fourth in the WAC standings with a 3-3 mark and are 7-11 overall.

Pack Players Climbing: Baldwin and Sei Near Milestones:  Four Pack players continue to make an assualt on the Nevada career lists this season.
Juniors Lindsay Baldwin and Kylie Harrington rank sixth and seventh in career points with 891 and 755 respectively.  Baldwin also ranks fourth in block assists as her 298 is just two shy of 300 for her career and she is fifth with 330 total blocks.
Senior right side hitter Jorgan Staker is seventh in block assists with 216 and ninth with 221 total blocks.
Senior setter Sonnie Sei is nearing 1,500 career assists as her 1,475 is ninth all-time at Nevada.

Team and Player Notes

Team Notes:  Nevada has yet to post back-to-back wins this season as all six victories were either preceded or followed by a loss... Nevada continued its success in five set matches downing Utah State 3-2 which improved the Pack to 5-0 in five set matches...for the ninth consecutive year Nevada opened WAC play with a win downing Fresno State 3-1 on Sept. 29 and the Pack are 9-1 in WAC openers since joining the conference in 2000...Nevada's four set win over FS is the only Pack victory this season that did not go five sets...Nevada's loss at LA Tech (Oct. 3) was the first to the Lady Techsters in 13 WAC meetings...the Pack played in four tournaments to start the season and went 1-2 in all four...Nevada snapped a season-high four-match losing skid downing Houston 3-2 in the final match of the Wildcat Classic on Sept. 5...for the first time since 2003 Nevada won its season opener downing Connecticut 3-2 on Aug. 28...the Pack were picked to finish fifth in the WAC Preseason Coaches' Poll...Nevada ranks sixth in hitting (.169%), fifth in assists (10.49 aps), eighth in blocking (1.79 bps), eighth in digs (12.41 dps), seventh in opponent hitting percentage (.217%), fifth in kills (11.42 kps) and seventh in service aces (1.04 saps) in the WAC while in conference only action the team ranks eighth in hitting (.142%), fifth in assists (11.17 aps), eighth in blocking (1.61 bps), second in digs (15.56 dps), seventh in opponent hitting percentage (.216%), fifth in kills (12.06 kps) and fourth in service aces (1.06 saps).

Player Notes:  Junior Kylie Harrington leads the team with five doubles-doubles on the season which is tied for fourth most by any WAC player...Harrington posted career highs with 22 kills and 20 digs in Nevada's 3-1 WAC opening win over Fresno State (Sept. 26)... Harrington has led the Pack in kills in 14 matches this season and tied for the team lead once...14 times Harrington has reached double figures in kills...eight times Harrington has either posted or tied for the match-high in kills...twice this season Harrington has totaled 20 or more kills with the 22 vs. FS and 21 vs. Houston...three Pack players recorded double-doubles in the Fresno State win Harrington, junior Lindsay Baldwin (10k,10blocks) and freshman Elissa Ji (15k,14d)... sophomore setter Tatiana Santiago's 40 assists vs. FS was the high by a Pack player this year...Santiago is second on the team with two double-doubles...Santiago and senior Sonnie Sei have split time at setter as they average 4.99 and 4.37 assists per set respectively...Sei dished out her 1400th career assist in the Pack's 3-0 loss at Sacramento State (Sept. 22) and she is 25 from 1,500 as her 1,475 ranks ninth in school history...Santiago averages 6.24 assists per set in WAC play to rank ninth in the conference...Baldwin is fourth in WAC play averaging 1.27 blocks per set and overall is 10th at 1.06 per set...Harrington is seventh averaging 3.64 points per set in WAC action and fifth overall averaging 3.30 while Baldwin is 10th in conference play averaging 3.40 per set and ninth overall at 3.17 per set...Harrington ranks fifth in WAC play and overall in kills per set averaging 3.39 and 3.30 per set respectively...Baldwin is also tied for sixth in WAC play averaging .33 service aces per set...junior libero Nicole Link tops the WAC in conference only matches averaging 5.22 digs per set and overall ranks third at 3.96 per set...Link's 30 dig performance in Nevada's 3-2 victory of CSU Bakersfield on Sept. 19 established a new career-high and ranks as the fourth best total in school history...Link's 29 digs vs. Utah State (Oct. 10) and at FS (Sept. 11, 2008) is the tied for the fifth best total in school history...Link's 30 digs vs. CSUB (Sept. 19) and 29 vs. Utah State (Oct. 10) are the top two performances in the WAC this season... Baldwin's 10 blocks vs. FS (Sept. 26) is tied for the 5th most in the WAC...Harrington's 22 kills and 25 points versus FS (Sept. 26) is tied for sixth and fifth best match total respectively in the conference... Harrington's five service aces vs. UCONN (Aug. 28) is tied for the most by any WAC player...Link has led the Pack in digs 13 times this season including the last nine matches...seven times Link has either tied or posted the match high in digs...five times Link has surpassed 20 digs in a match this season which includes the 30 dig performance...senior Jorgan Staker came off the bench and totaled 12 kills versus Portland State (Sept. 12) which is one off her career-high...Staker hit .588 in the PSU match which is the high by any Pack player this season...sophomore Erin Garvey has twice posted career highs with 12 kills this season vs. Sam Houston State (Sept. 12) and Utah State (Oct. 10)...sophomore middle blocker Brittni Yates saw her first action since injuring her ankle on Sept. 4 vs. Eastern Washington coming off the bench vs. Utah State on Oct. 10.
