RENO, Nev. -  The University of Nevada volleyball hosted its annual spring tournament last weekend at the Virginia Street Gym and posted a 5-1 record playing two sets against three different opponents.

The Wolf Pack lost its first set of the day to Chico State then won its next five sets including the second set from the Wildcats.  The Pack swept both sets from UC Davis and Academy of Arts.

Offensively Sam Willoughby and Tessa Lea'ea led the team in double digit kills of 21 and 16 respectively. Willoughby and Sommer King both hit over .400 for the day. Defensively the team was lead Lea'ea's five blocks and Kara Kasser's 20 digs.

The team is off this weekend but will return to action on April 26th where the team will play during the Far Western Qualifier at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center against the Northern California Dream Team.  The Dream Team is comprised of former collegiate players.
