Volleyball Day Camp

Girls and boys entering grades 4-12 June 13 -16, 2011
8:30-11 a.m.

Ages/Abilities

Day Camp is designed to teach fundamental skills and to offer an introduction to team concepts and match play. Players will also be introduced to wallyball, a sport similar to volleyball, but played on a racquetball court. Athletes will be grouped according to ability to ensure quality instruction during the camp.

Camp Location

Sessions will be held at the University of Nevada, Reno Virginia St. Gym and Lombardi Recreation Center.

Fee

  • Day Camp (Morning session) $195
  • Early registration (received by May 1) $165

Volleyball Premier Camp

Girls entering grades 8-12 or entering freshman-level college July 21-24, 2011
Day or Overnight Camp

Ages/Abilities

Premier Camp is designed for girls of all skill levels entering the 8th grade or higher. Instruction will be fast- paced and intended to challenge players of all abilities. Athletes will be grouped based on their age and level of skill to enable each player to receive quality instruction during the camp. Instruction will include step-by-step progressions of all skills as well as team concepts and match play.

Camp Schedule/Location

  • Check-in: July 21, Thurs., 2-4 p.m.; evaluations, 6-9 p.m.
  • Formal instruction:
    • July 22, Friday, 9 a.m.-9:30 p.m.
    • July 23, Saturday, 9 a.m.-9:30 p.m.
    • July 24, Sunday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Sessions will be held at the University of Nevada, Reno Virginia St. Gym, Lombardi Recreation Center, and at gym facilities surrounding the University.

Meals/Overnight Option

Lunches and dinners will be provided for all campers. Overnight campers will also be provided breakfasts and dormitory accommodations. (A refundable dorm- key deposit of $50 will be required at check-in for overnight campers.)
Meals for participants will begin with dinner on Thursday evening and conclude with lunch on Sunday.

  • Premier Overnight Camp $550

    • Fee includes room and board.
  • Dorm-key deposit (refundable upon return) $50
