LOGAN, Utah - The University of Nevada (4-27, 2-17 MW) volleyball team lost a Mountain West match at Utah State (20-11, 13-7 MW) in three sets by scores of 25-18, 25-16 and 25-14. The loss dropped the Wolf Pack to 4-27 and 2-17 in the MW while the Aggies improved to 20-11 and 13-7 in conference play.
The Aggies ended the first set with an 8-1 run to win 25-18. The second set was tied at 12 before USU outscored Nevada 13-4 to take the set 25-16. In the final set the Aggies scored the first three points and won 25-14 to win the match 3-0.
Senior Grace Anxo led the Pack with 10 kills. Senior setter Dana Holt had 17 assists and freshman setter Lyndsey Anderson 11.
Kaitlyn Vanhoff had 12 kills for USU and Rachel Orr added 10. Ashlan Rogers-Court finished with 18 digs and setter Paige Neves 30assissts for the Aggies.
Nevada hit .121 in the match and the Aggies .392. USU won the blocking battle 5.5-2.
Nevada concludes the season at Boise State on Friday at 7 p.m. PT.
