FORT COLLINS, Colo. - The University of Nevada (2-24, 0-14 MW) volleyball team lost at Mountain West leading and 10th ranked Colorado State (23-0, 14-0 MW) by scores of 25-18, 25-18, and 25-19 tonight. The Rams remained perfect improving to 23-0 and 14-0 in MW play while the Wolf Pack dropped to 2-24 and 0-14 in conference action.
The first set was tied late at 17 before CSU put together an 8-1 run to win 25-18. The Rams scored the first three points of set two and never trailed to win by an identical score of 25-18. Leading the final set 19-18 CSU outscored Nevada 6-1 to win set three 25-19 and the match 3-0.
Pack junior middle blocker Tessa Lea'ea posted a match-high 13 kills and setter Lyndsey Anderson had 17 assists.
Adrianna Culbert and Marlee Reynolds each had 11 kills for the Rams. Setter Deedra Foss dished out 44 assists and Jaime Colaizzi finished with a match-high 11 digs.
CSU hit .323 in the match and Nevada .174. Both teams had seven blocks on the night.
Nevada returns home to host San Diego State on Thursday and UNLV on Saturday.
