RENO, Nev. - Despite scoring 24 points in games two and three, the University of Nevada volleyball team fell 3-0 (25-15, 26-24, 26-24) to Wyoming on Thursday night at the Virginia Street Gym.
With the loss, Nevada fell to 4-18 (1-8 MW). Wyoming improved to 16-8 (4-5 MW) with the victory.
Starting her second match of the season at the setter position, freshman Taylar Rothfuss posted a career-high 32 assists. She also had four assisted blocks and scored five points. Kelly Chang led the Pack with 14 digs and was the only player to reach double digits defensively.
Nevada will stay at home for its next match, taking on Colorado State on Saturday night at 7 p.m. in VSG.
