NEVADA: Named to 2001 WAC preseason volleyball squad...returning first team All-WAC performer who is entering her final season at Nevada...will be a key to the success of the team in 2001...one of four players on the squad who is a member of head coach Devin Scruggs’ first recruiting class...appears in the Nevada record book 13 times...digs records include single match(38), single season(417, in 2000), and is second all-time with 1,183 career digs...61 digs will move her past Tiffany Neumeier’s(1994-97) 1,243 career digs into first place...posted first(417), second(409) and eighth(357) best single season digs marks in school history...career marks of 955 kills ranks fourth, and .209 hitting percentage is 10th...practiced with the U.S. National Team at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs this past summer trying out for its Libero position, a defensive specialist spot on the squad.
2000(Jr.): Named to WAC first team...joined Michelle More as the only two players to play in all 27 matches and 101 games...set single season school record with 417 digs breaking her old mark of 409 set in 1998...38 digs at San Jose State, Sept. 29 also broke her own single match record of 35 set in 1998...two other home matches of 25 digs vs. California, Sept. 1 and San Jose State, Nov. 4 are tied for the seventh best single match performances at Nevada...led conference averaging 4.13 digs per game, 4.31 digs per game in WAC only matches...26 service aces led the team...ninth in the conference averaging .29 service aces per game in WAC only matches...finished second on the team with 321 kills averaging 3.18 kills per game...16 matches of double digit kills and 21 of double figure digs...11 times posted double-doubles in kills and digs...best match was when she broke her own 1998 dig record with 38 in the Wolf Pack’s 3-2 loss at SJSU...also had 18 kills, two blocks and a service ace in the SJSU match.
1999(So.): Along with Kellie LaBossiere were the only Wolf Pack players to appear in all 28 matches and 109 games...led the team in digs for the second consecutive season with 357 which was the seventh best single season mark in school history...averaged 3.28 digs per game to tie for fifth in the Big West...fifth on the team in kills, 231 and service aces, 17...double figures in kills 10 times and in digs 20 matches...10 matches with double-doubles in kills and digs...one of her top performances was a 21 dig, 16 kill outing versus Southern California, Sept. 9.
1998(Fr.): Big West second team and Big West All-Freshmen squad selection...played in 28 matches and 101 games in her first season at Nevada...ranked second in the Big West averaging 4.05 digs per game and was fifth averaging 3.99 kills per game...led the team in with 403 kills and 409 digs...set school single season dig record with 409 and single match mark with 35 in Nevada’s 3-2 win versus Sacramento State, Oct. 13...26 digs versus Connecticut is tied for the sixth best single match performance...403 kills ranks as the sixth best single season mark in Wolf Pack history while the 1,987 attacks is the fourth best mark in a single season...third on the team with 29 service aces...attained double figures in kills 25 times and digs in 21 matches...20 double-doubles in kills and digs...best outing of the season was the 35 dig record setting performance versus Sacramento State in which she also had 17 kills, 4 service aces, and 2 blocks.
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned a total of 11 letters competing in volleyball, basketball, and track & field at Linden High School, Linden, Calif....named All-Mother Lode League three times, all-area twice, and earned league MVP honors once...1998 Female Athlete of the Year at LHS...member of a State Championship team and earned All-CIF honors in 1996 and 1997.
GETTING ACQUAINTED: Enjoys working with children in the classroom and in sports, the outdoors, traveling, and skiing....chose Nevada over San Diego State, Oregon and UC Santa Barbara.
