WHAT’S HAPPENING

Junior Demerey Kirsch will be in action in the women’s 3,000-meter steeplechase scheduled for 8:50 p.m. this evening.  The University of Arkansas is hosting the NCAA West Primary Round on campus at the John McDonnell Field in Fayetteville, Ark. 

Kirsch ran the sixth fastest 3,000-meter steeplechase in the Mountain West this season on April 4th at the Stanford Invite.  Her time of 10:28.57 is the second fastest time in school history, trailing April Fitzgerald’s school record of 10:28.34 set in 2004.  Kirsch enters competition ranked 43rd in the West Region.
