Track Results From The NCAA West Outdoor Regionals

Provo, Utah - The Nevada track team had four athletes compete at the NCAA West Outdoor Regionals on Friday. Jamie Martino, Inger Appanaitis, Megan Lytle and Caira Hane all represented the Wolf Pack.

Appanaitis was the top finisher for the Pack, finishing ninth in the javelin throw with a throw of 45.85 meters. Lytle and Hane followed, finishing 19th and 20th in the same event.

Martino was the lone competitor for Nevada in the shot put. She finished 12th with a throw of 14.26 meters.

In order to move on to the NCAA Championships, the athlete must finish in the top five at their regional.

Nevada will have two jumpers competing tomorrow. Sherena Smith and Ashley Mathis will both compete in the triple jump.
