Track and Field Heads to Stanford Invitational

RENO, Nev. - WHAT'S HAPPENINGThe University of Nevada track and field team will travel to Stanford, Calif. to participate in the Stanford Invitational Saturday. RECAP OF LAST MEETNevada had a strong outing from freshman Kashae Knox in its last meet at the Cal-Nevada Championships. Knox finished first in the 200m, recording a personal best time of 24.44 which is good for third on the all-time program list. The freshman also finished second in the100m with a time of 12.02 to tie her personal best mark. Junior Deborah Amoah had a solid showing in the long jump, finishing third and cracking the 19ft barrier for the first time with a 19'.5" mark. Amoah also finished fifth in the 100m hurdles (14.53) and triple jump (40’.75”).
