WHAT’S HAPPENING

The Wolf Pack track and field team will be on the road for the Hornet Invite hosted by Sacramento State University. Events are scheduled to kick off this Saturday, March, 22nd at the Hornet Stadium on campus.

KEY PERFORMANCES LAST MEET

Aggie Open:

Senior Samantha Diaz and junior Demerey Kirsch finished in first and second place respectively in the 2,000-meter steeplechase.  Diaz finished with a time of 7:02.86, and Kirsch crossed the line with a time of 7:09.51.

Anne Underwood finished in third place of the 800-meter dash with teammate Reighan Fisher finishing in fifth place. 

In the hammer throw senior Kerri Simmons finished in second place recording the seventh best mark in school history at 172’.05”.

Wolf Pack javelin throwers Raffaela Wiesbeck, Alyssa Zunino and Savanna Haverfield finished in second, third, and fourth place respectively to dominate the Aggie Open. 

Sophomore Kinsey Minter won her first outdoor high jump competition of the season clearing a height of 5’7”, and freshman Leah Carter grabbed a fifth place finish after clearing a height of 5’3”.
