LINCOLN, Neb. Senior Analisa Serrano finished second overall in the 60m hurdles Friday afternoon at the Nebraska Tune Up hosted by the University of Nebraska.
Serrano ran a PR time of 8.67 in the event which is third on Nevada’s all-time list. Serrano broke her previous PR of 8.68 set last weekend at the UW Open Meet in Seattle, Wash.
“Analisa put together a really good race,” head coach Shantel Twiggs said. “She looked really good especially over the first couple of hurdles. I’m really excited for this senior her performance was outstanding.”
Nebraska’s Nikita Eades won the event with a time of 8.59.
Nevada will compete in the WAC Indoor Championships Feb. 26-28 in Boise, Idaho.
