Women's Track & Field Shows Solid Effort In First Meet

The women's track and field team competed in its first indoor meet of the season last weekend in Nampa, Idaho and performed well, beating every team in the double dual meet. Nevada had seven individual wins including a tie in the women's triple. The Pack beat Boise State, Cal State-Los Angeles, Eastern Oregon, and Nnu.

"We are headed down the right path and look forward to team progression over the next 4-5 weeks."

The Pack's next action will be its home indoor meet, which will take place over the next two weekends. Nevada will host the Pole Vault Summit and the Silver State Invitational on the 28th and 29th and then the Bill Cosby Open, February 3rd and 4th. All events will be taking place at the Reno Livestock Events Center (RLEC). Prices for general admission are $7.00 for adults and $4.00 for kids and seniors at the Nevada ticket office or at the RLEC the day of the meet.
