LAS VEGAS, Nev. -
University of Nevada track and field freshman Shannon Forman leads the Wolf Pack in the women's heptathlon, sitting in eighth place after the first day of competition at the 2013 Mountain West Outdoor Track and Field Championships at the Sheila Tarr-Smith Field at Myron Partridge Stadium in Las Vegas.
"Overall a solid start for the Pack," head coach Shantel Twiggs said. "The heptathlon is an event that is filled with many ups and downs.
