RENO, Nev. - The University of Nevada women's tennis team will take on No. 60 UC Davis in a make-up match, Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Marya Welch Tennis Center in Davis, Calif.
Rain forced the meeting between the teams to be postponed, as it was initially scheduled to be played earlier in the spring.
Nevada dispatched Northern Arizona 6-0 in Reno on Friday, moving to 5-7 on the year and 2-0 at home. Against the Lumberjacks, Florence De Vrye made her 2011 singles debut, winning 2-6, 6-4, 6-0 in the No. 3 position over Malia Wahinepio.
The senior from Wemmel, Belgium, had played in three doubles matches and no singles matches before Friday.
The win was Nevada's third in a row, including a home win against New Mexico and a neutral site victory against Hawai'i.
UC Davis defeated Montana 6-1 in its last match, taking the Grizzlies down at home. The Aggies improved to 12-3 with the win.
