Ducks Down Pack 5-2


EUGENE, Ore. – The Nevada women’s tennis team lost to the Oregon Ducks 5-2 Sunday.


The Pack failed to win the doubles point for their second consecutive match, losing by scores of 8-3 and 8-6.


Nevada was ranked No. 63 going into action Saturday, but went 0-2 over the weekend.  Oregon, ranked No. 72 going into competition this weekend, comes out 1-1 after they fell to Sacramento State on Saturday. 


Nevada got victories in singles play from Maria Mizyuk and Caroline Stevens, in matches one and six respectively.


The Pack women will return to action on the road against WAC foe New Mexico State on Feb. 20.
