LAS VEGAS, Nev. - One University of Nevada women's tennis team member is into the finals of the ITA Mountain Regionals in Las Vegas after winning her match on Saturday.

Michelle Okhremchuk picked up two singles victories on the day to advance to the finals of the ITA Mountain Regionals. She eliminated Nuria Ormeno of Colorado in straight sets 6-4, 6-1 to advance to the semifinals. There, she ousted No. 1 seed in the tournament and current No. 32 ranked player in the country Aleksandra Josifoska of arch-rival and host-school UNLV 6-2, 6-4.

"It was exciting to see her go out there and pick up two victories," head coach Guillaume Tonelli said. "She is playing well and we believe she can go out there and get one more."

The two victories gives her six singles victories on the year and moves her into third place for singles victories in school history with 71, and is four behind former teammate Emma Verberne.
