Improves To 4-0 On The Year

Las Cruces, N.M. - The University of Nevada swimming and diving team improved to 4-0 on the season sweeping a double-dual with New Mexico State and Northern Colorado in Las Cruces, N.M. Saturday morning. The Wolf Pack defeated NMSU 189-73 and UNC 195-67.
Nevada won 11 of the fourteen events on the day with Kim Kabesh, and Li Bei each winning three. Kabesh captured first in the 100, and 200-yard butterfly along with the 1000-yard freestyle. Bei won the 100, and 200-yard breaststroke along with the 200-yard IM.
Lisa Schmidt was a double winner taking first in the 50, and 100-yard freestyle. Stephanie Smith was the ninth individual to bring home gold in the 500-yard freestyle.
Both relays, the 200-yard freestyle, and 400-yard medley were won by the Pack.
Nevada returns to action on Oct. 27 at UC Davis.
