INDIANAPOLIS - University of Nevada swimmer and senior Mengjiao Mi concluded her second day at the NCAA Championships with a 33rd-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle on Friday.
She touched the wall with a time of 1:46.92, after finishing 34th in the 500 free on Thursday night. Swimming in her final event as a Nevada student-athlete, Mi will conclude her collegiate career with the 1,650-yard freestyle on Sunday.
Mi is the first Nevada swimmer to compete in multiple events at the NCAA Championships since 2008, and won all three freestyle races at the Mountain West Championships this season.
