COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – University of Nevada senior diver Grace Huang placed third in today’s 3-meter diving event at the NCAA Zone E Diving Regional being hosted by the Air Force Academy this weekend.
Eight divers from NCAA Zone E will advance to the NCAA Championship at the University of Minnesota, Mar. 20-22. The divers that advance will be announced after Saturday’s platform competition has concluded.
Huang, the 2014 Mountain West Diver of the Year, scored 651.60 to earn third. Thursday she was the Pack’s top finisher in the 1-meter taking 13th with a score of 262.65.
Sophomore Krysta Palmer scored 590.90 in today’s 3-meter to place 10th and was 26th in Thursday’s 1-meter posting a score of 247.25.
Senior Stephanie Hansen placed 23rd in the 1-meter and 21st in the 3-meter.
