SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Jian Li You and Stephanie Hansen took home yearly honors after the 2013 Mountain West Championships on Saturday, winning Diving Coach and Diver of the Year, respectively.

Li You is the first Nevada coach to win a coach of the year honor in the Mountain West, while Hansen becomes the first student-athlete to earn a yearly conference honor for his or her athletic performance.

Li You has now been named a conference coach of the year on four occasions in her 17 seasons at Nevada. She was the WAC Diving Coach of the Year in 2001, 2004 and 2012. Last season, she coach En Tien Huang to the same honor.

Hansen won the one-meter and platform events this week and added a second-place finish in the three-meter event, cementing her position as the best diver in the Mountain West. She scored 306.99 to win the 1m, 337.83 points to finish second to Huang in the 3m and 270.27 to win the platform event.

In total, Nevada earned six individual wins at the championships, with the three in diving added to three from senior Mengjiao Mi. She won the 200, 500 and 1,650-yard freestyle with times of 1:46.36, 4:43.10 and 16:19.32.
