Third Honor this Season

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Nevada junior Grace Huang has earned Mountain West Women's Diver of the Week honors for meets contested from Jan. 16-21, 2013. It is the third MW honor for Huang this season.

Huang, who hails from Kaohsiung City, Taiwan, captured first place in the 1-meter and 3-meter springboard events in the Wolf Pack's narrow loss (160-140) to San Jose State. The Nevada divers won all but seven of the available points in the Jan. 19 meet. Huang recorded a 302.47 on the 1-meter board and a 343.80 on the 3-meter board. Her 3-meter mark is tied for second in the MW this season. Both marks qualify Huang for the NCAA Diving Zones in March.
