RENO, Nev. –  The University of Nevada swimming & diving team travels to California for two road competitions this week.  Both duals will only be swimming as the Wolf Pack divers will not compete this weekend.  The Pack is at Cal State East Bay in Hayward, Calif. on Friday at 2 p.m. then continues its trip at Mountain West member San Jose State on Saturday at noon.

“We're challenging the swimmers with a different line-up against CSEB,” second-year head coach Abby Steketee said.    “Racing SJSU, last year's WAC champions, will require every ounce of our focus. Everyone on the team is determined to give their best effort in each of their events over two days as we fine-tune for the MW Championships.”

Nevada enters the weekend 4-3 in dual competition.  The regular season is winding down with just three events remaining, the two this weekend and the Pack concludes the regular season at UNLV on Feb. 1.  The MW Championship is set for Feb. 19-22 in San Antonio, Texas.
