Jan. 4, 2012
RENO, Nev. - The University of Nevada diving team did not participate the one-meter competition at the Hawai'i Diving Invitational Thursday.
The first event of the six-team, three-day competition was only scored to the 14th position. Harvard dominated, with seven of the top 14 positions held by Crimson divers.
The competition will consist of each of the three diving disciplines and take place at the Duke Kahanamoku Aquatic Complex. The women's one-meter event was Thursday at 10 a.m., with the three-meter competition to take place at noon Friday and the platform competition to be held at 1 p.m. Saturday.
Nevada's divers have had strong performances so far in 2011-12, led by Grace Huang, who currently holds the top score in each discipline for any Western Athletic Conference diver. Melyssa Charlton, Jennifer Arnold and Stephanie Hansen have also had strong performances this year.
As always, complete results will be available at the official page of Wolf Pack athletics, www.NevadaWolfPack.com, as soon as they become available.
