Silver Scores Victory Over Blue in 2012 Intersquad

RENO, Nev. – The University of Nevada swimming and diving team held its annual Silver and Blue Intersquad meet on Friday, with the silver team taking a 139-101 victory at the Lombardi Pool.

Newcomers Erika Twenge and Kaelie Reviglio each won an event on Friday night, with Twenge taking the 50-yard freestyle in a time of 25.78 and Reviglio finishing first in the 100-yard butterfly at 1:00.51.

Returners Jojo Mi, Luiza Vieira and Chavisa Thaveesupsoonthorn won two events each. Mi bested the field in the 200 and 500-yard freestyle. Vieira took the backstroke events, winning the 100 in 59.11 and the 200 in 2:08.81. Thaveesupsoonthorn got victories in the 200-yard breaststroke and 200-yard IM.

Nevada’s first dual meet will be October 26 at 1 p.m. in Stockton, Calif., when the Wolf Pack meets the Pacific Tigers.
