RENO, Nev. –  University of Nevada senior diver Grace Huang placed 16th in the 3-meter at the NCAA Championship being hosted by the University of Minnesota today to earn honorable mention All-America honors.  Teammate Yawen Li was one spot short of earning the same honor tying for 17th in the 400-yard IM.    

Huang who was 21st in the Thursday’s 1-meter scored 299.10 in the consolation finals today to place 16th.  She concludes the championship on Saturday competing in the platform, an event she won at the Mountain West Championship when she earned Diver of the Year honors.

Li swam 4:10.31 to tie San Diego State’s Mikael Macklin for 17th in the 400-yard IM today.  Spots nine through 16 earn honorable mention All-America honors.  She won the event at the MW Championship.  On Thursday she was 45th in the 200-yard IM.  She competes in her final event the 200-yard breaststroke on Saturday.
