Nevada athletes finished at day one of NCAA Championship

RENO, Nev. - Both of the University of Nevada athletes competing at the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championship being hosted by the University of Minnesota are done competing at the first day of the championship.
Senior diver Grace Huang finished 21st in the 1-meter event today. Grace scored 272.15 competing at her first NCAA Championship. She will compete in the 3-meter on Friday.
Making her first trip the NCAA Championship, Yawen Liswam 1:59.88 in the 200-yard IM this morning and finished 45th. Li's time is the fourth fastest in school history. She finished 10 spots above where she was seeded going into the championship and will return to the pool on Friday to compete in the 400-yard IM.
