Huang qualifies for NCAA Championship

Grace Huang will represent Nevada in diving at the NCAA Championship.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -  University of Nevada senior diver Grace Huang earned one of the eight spots available for the NCAA Championship at the NCAA Zone E Diving Regional being hosted by the Air Force Academy this weekend.   The NCAA Championship is set for Mar. 20-22 at the University of Minnesota.

Huang placed 17th in today's platform with a score of 224.75.  She was third in Friday's 3-meter and 13th in Thursday's 1-meter event.

Sophomore Krysta Palmer was Nevada's top finisher in Saturday's platform scoring 458.40 to place ninth.    Palmer was 10th in the 3-meter and 26th in the 1-meter at the qualifier.

Senior Stephanie Hansen placed 27th in the platform, 23rd in 1-meter and 21st in the 3-meter during the NCAA Qualifier.  Senior Jennifer Arnold competed in just the platform this weekend and placed 29th today.
