HAYWARD, Calif. -  The University of Nevada swimming & diving team won nine-of-16 events to down Cal State East Bay 134-115 on Friday afternoon.  The Wolf Pack swimmers competed in the event as the divers are on a training trip.

With the victory the Pack improved to 5-3 in dual competition.  Nevada will compete against fellow Mountain West member San José State on Saturday at noon.

The Wolf Pack 400-yard medley relay team got the day started winning in a time of 3:52.39.  Lulu Vieira, Yawen Li, Sita Kusserow and Teresa Baerens comprised the winning team.

Li won two individual events in the meet placing first in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of1:54.82 and took the 200-yard backstroke in 2:06.67.

Kaelie Reviglio earned nine team points swimming 59:56 to place first in the 100-yard breaststroke.  Rachele O'Connor's time of 2:08.66 won the 200-yard butterfly.  Kusserow earned a first place finish in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 53:43.

Sophie Cieplucha won the 200-yard breaststroke with first place time of 2:23.03.  Riley Hilbrandt captured the 500-yard freestyle in 5:09.06.

Baerens led a sweep of the 200-yard individual medley going 2:05.77.  Arantxa Medina-Alegra and Kusserow placed second and third respectively.
