Duo of Hansen and Huang Performing Well at Hawai'i Invite

HONOLULU - Stephanie Hansen and Grace Huang led the Nevada divers to a strong finish at the Hawai'i Diving Invitational Friday, placing fourth and fifth respectively in the three-meter competition.

Hansen scored 269.75, one spot ahead of Huang at 256.70. Melyssa Charlton finished seventh in the event at 244.60 to give Nevada three of the top-10 divers on the day. Jennifer Arnold was 16th with a score of 206.60.

Huang has now scored at least 250 points in each of Nevada's events this season, prompting her to earn two WAC Diver of the Week awards. Charlton, diving in her final season for the Wolf Pack, had her strongest performance against Fresno State earlier this season. Against the Bulldogs, she placed second in the one-meter dive with a score of 288.75 and third in the three-meter dive with a score of 284.93.

The event will conclude Saturday with the platform discipline.
