At Nevada: 2012-13 (Sophomore): Gave the Pack a spark in distance freestyle events for the second straight year ... Was second in the event against both San Jose State (10:58.96) and Fresno State and Fresno Pacific (10:37.92) ... Her time in Nevada's double-dual with FSU and FPU was the second-best time of any Nevada swimmer in 2012-13. 2011-12 (Freshman) For the most part, swam distance events in the freestyle discipline in her first season for the Pack ... Posted four top-five finishes in the 1,000-yard freestyle in dual competition ... Personal best (at the time) of 10:56.97 in the 1,000 free and 5:23.06 in the 500 free ... Two top 15's in her first WAC Championships with a 12th in the 500 free (5:01.72) and a 15th in the 1,650 free (17:29.71).

Prior to Nevada: Captained Estero High School to a district championship last season ... Winner, Swim Miami 5K in 2007 and 2009 ... Member of the Barron Collier HS team that won back-to-back district championships in 2008-09 and 2009-10 before attending Estero High ... Earned four total varsity letters in swimming at both schools.

Personal: Daughter of Brent and Lori Lawson ... Chose Nevada over the University at Buffalo, St. Bonaventure and Fresno State for the opportunity to live and go to school in the Reno-Tahoe area ... Enjoys golfing, going to the beach, spending times with family and friends and shopping in her free time.
