The University of Nevada's doubleheader against Weber State Thursday was canceled due to field conditions and weather in the Ogden, Utah area. It is not likely that the games will be made up.
The storms in the area have also forced a change in the Wolf Pack's schedule for the weekend. Nevada was scheduled to play Utah State in a single game on Friday and a doubleheader on Saturday. However, due to weather forecasts for the next couple days, the Wolf Pack and the Aggies will try to play a doubleheader on Friday and get the single game in on Saturday. Friday's schedule is for games at noon and 2 p.m. and Saturday's single game will be at noon (all times Pacific).
All three games against Utah State are scheduled to be carried (audio stream) at www.nevadawolfpack.com.
Nevada leads the overall series with the Aggies 12-19. Last season, the Wolf Pack swept the Aggies in the three-game series in Reno. The Aggies also were slated to play Thursday against BYU, but that game was also postponed due to the same inclement weather conditions.
Nevada is 14-14 overall on the season and 1-2 in WAC play. The Wolf Pack has now lost four games due to weather on the season.
