Final Game Of Nevada-NMSU Softball Series Canceled

The final game of the Nevada-New Mexico State softball series was canceled due to weather.

The game was scheduled to start at 1 p.m. but was pushed back because of field conditions. After the field was prepared to play, the game began at 2:54 p.m. It was called five minutes later, just two batters into the game.

The game is unlikely to be made up unless it affects the final Western Athletic Conference standings.

Next up for Nevada is a three-game series at Hawai`i next weekend. The Wolf Pack and the Rainbow Wahine will play a single game Friday night and a doubleheader on Sunday.

The next home game for the Pack is April 3-4 against Louisiana Tech.
