Nevada Drops Season Opener, 4-1

Reno, Nev. - The Wolf Pack suffered their first loss of the season on Thursday, after falling behind 4-1 to Colorado State.

The Pack's only score came in the fifth inning when junior DP Lindsey Hall hit a solo homerun to lead off the inning. Hall tied her homerun total (1) from last year. The game was the second in a double-header for Colorado State. CSU lost 4-2 to Cal Poly in eight innings.

The Pack will now look forward to the Mustang Round-up Tournament which starts on Friday. Nevada is scheduled to play five games in three days, including a re-match against Colorado State. The Wolf Pack will play Arkansas (2:00 P.M.) and Cal Poly (4:30 P.M.) on Friday, Sacramento State (9:00A.M.) and Colorado State (11:30 A.M.) on Saturday and Cal Poly (11:30 A.M.) again on Sunday.
