Soccer Insider: Aleina Dominguez

Nevada soccer senior #6 Aleina Dominguez

Sept. 26, 2013

RENO, Nev. - recently caught up with Wolf Pack soccer senior midfielder Aleina Dominguez to ask a series of questions.

Nevada Wolf Pack: Thanks for chatting with us before heading to practice Aleina. The team opens Mountain West play this week at home Friday with a match against Utah State. What are your thoughts on coming back home after being on the road to start conference play?

Aleina Dominguez: I’m really excited. I think that we are going to step up and come out ready to play in front of our fans at Mackay. The non-conference didn’t go as well as we would’ve hoped and we are all ready to come out as a unit and play well together.

NWP: Being one of five seniors on the team, what have you and the other seniors told your younger teammates what to look for or expect with the start of the regular season?

AD: All year we have encouraged everyone to work as hard as possible in everything we do. We’ve continued to stress the importance of that.

NWP: Five quick questions for you….Favorite Food?

AD: Pizza

NWP: Favorite movie?

AD: Monsters University

NWP: Favorite TV show?

AD: Breaking Bad

NWP: Song that pumps you up before a soccer match?

AD: Toulouse by Nicky Romero

NWP: Favorite Movie Quote?

Aleina and the Nevada soccer team will open MW play Friday night at Mackay Stadium against Utah State. Kick-off is 7 p.m.
