LAS VEGAS, Nev. The University of Nevada soccer team fell to Pacific 1-0 Sunday afternoon at the UNLV Nike Classic in Las Vegas, Nev.
Pacific scored the game-winning goal in the 63rd minute as the Tigers improved to 2-2 on the year while Nevada fell to 0-3.
Kristina Wavmoba scored what proved to be the game-winner in the 63rd minute on an unassisted goal as she hit a shot from 20-yards out that beat Pack goalie Sarah Hunt.
Nevada ended the game with a season-high eight shots (three on goal) while Pacific finished the game with 13 shots (eight on goal). Miranda Montejo led the Pack with three shots in the game.
Nevada goalkeeper Sarah Hunt ended the game with a career-high seven saves in the match while Amanda McNab recorded three saves for Pacific.
Nevada will play at San Francisco on Friday at 7 p.m. and will return to Mackay Stadium on Sunday to face Portland State at 2 p.m.
