Incoming Soccer Player Emma Rice Goes on Vacation in Barcelona
RENO, Nev. – Incoming soccer player Emma Rice (Santa Clarita, Calif.) spent 10 days in Barcelona, Spain with her family this summer.
“My favorite part of the trip was going to a theme park called Tibidabo, which overlooked the entire city.”
Rice traveled with her mom, Karen, dad, Randy, and brother, Jake. During their vacation, they visited numerous museums and walked around the city. They also went to local beaches and took tours around the city.
“I didn’t like the food there,” Rice said. “I found myself eating at American restaurants like McDonald's and Hard Rock Café.”
Prior to this trip Rice had been to Europe once before, playing in the Junior World Cup in Gothenburg, Sweden in 2006.
“What I’ll remember most about the trip is how pretty and different everything was compared to America.”To see a photo gallery from Rice’s trip, click on the link at the top of the page.
