Nevada will play its third tournament in as many weeks

RENO, Nev. – The Nevada women’s golf teams will be back in action this week as the they head north to Washington State Cougar Cub.

The 54-hole tournament at Palouse Ridge Golf Course in Pullman will begin Monday with 36 holes and conclude with an 18-hole final round on Tuesday.

The 14-team tournament will be the third in three weeks for Nevada, which opened the year with a fifth place finish at Colorado State and a seventh place finish last week at Oregon State.

Nevada will take a familiar team to the tournament with senior Louise Yi as the lone upperclassman and joined by sophomores Nikki Prichard and Bethany Wurster and freshmen Caryn Khoo and Carly Simpson.

After the Cougar Cup, Nevada will have a week off before a tournament at New Mexico State to conclude the fall portion of the schedule.
