RENO, Nev. – Coming off a solid start to the season last week, the Nevada women’s golf team moves on to the Oregon State Invitational beginning Monday at Trysting Tree Golf Club in Corvallis.
The Wolf Pack, which finished in a tie for fifth at the Colorado State event last week, will compete against 16 teams at the par-72, 6,141-yard course. The teams will play 36 holes on Monday with the final round of the 54-hole event slated for Tuesday.
Sophomore Nikki Prichard, who tied for fifth place individually last week, will lead the Wolf Pack into this week’s event. Senior Louise Yi is the lone upperclassman on the roster. They’ll be joined by Bethany Wurster, Caryn Khoo and Carly Simpson at this week’s tournament.
The field consists of Washington, Oregon State, Washington State, Idaho, Eastern Washington, Gonzaga, Hawaii, Texas A & M Corpus Christi, Northern Arizona, Utah Valley, San Francisco, Northridge, Boise State and Weber State.
