LAS CRUCES, NM – The Nevada Wolf Pack women’s golf team finished its last tournament of the fall semester on Wednesday with a sixth place finish at The Prices “Give ‘Em Five” Intercollegiate hosted by New Mexico State. The Wolf Pack had two players in the top 20.
The Pack finished with a 32 over 896 for the three-round tournament and shot a combined 301 in the final round at the 7078 yard New Mexico State Golf course.
Sophomore Nikki Prichard and freshman Caryn Khoo finished tied for 12th after Prichard shot a 77 in the final round, while Khoo shot a 74. Prichard and Khoo shot a five-over 221 for the tournament. This is the fourth straight tournament that Prichard finished in the top 20.
Kansas freshman Yupaporn Kawinpakorn won the individual race with a three-under 213. Kansas as a team also won the tournament with a seven-over 288.
This was Nevada’s last tournament of the fall semester, and will play again Feb. 11 at The Gold Rush Tournament in Yorba Linda, Calif.
